Hi there I hope somebody can advise me as to the possible courses of action I have open to me on this subject.
I saw a sette online that I ordered online and paid for by credit card.
My wife phoned up to check on delivery time and was advised that it would be 11 weeks. There was no mention of this on the website.
They have already taken the money from my credit card and I have emailed them to cancel the order. They have not responed.
Where do I satnd, assuming they continue to ignore my cancellation?
Thanks in advance.

Well what a result!
Told them I wanted to cancel and as I am away, my wife phoned to ensure they had received the cancellation, and they said they were trying to find a sette and lo and behold theyhad one in stock in another store close by, and we could have that on Friday.
Why didn't they just do that in the forst place.
All's well that ends well.
Thanks for all teh advice> :beer:0 -
Probably a customer return or a display model.0

You're not wrong! It came today and was scuffed and the leather didn't match in the panels and it wobbled!Probably a customer return or a display model.
All these faults were noted down on the delivery notice. My wife phoned the supplier who said that one shouldn't have been sent out it was a cutomer returned one.
Long and short is we are going to hang on to this one until the real one arrives and then swap them.0 -
#~write to them again, and state the phrase 'time is of the essence'
You have more legal clout with that if they put the delivery further back.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
