Tesco phone delivered after cancelled

Sorry just wanted to vent.
I ordered a phone from tesco.com on thursday,cancelled it friday was told by a member of staff that it had definatly been cancelled + money refunded to my card,which it has been today now the phone has been delivered any way to my house ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
looks like another trip to tesco to return the phone.

    The question is did you sign for the delivery considering Tesco say you havn't been sent one.

    You don't need to return it, simply inform them you have it and will retain it for a reasonable time for their collection, at your convenience. That means when they don't collect, and they probably won't, you can keep it.

    These things often happens with companies. I imagine Tesco get there phones supplied by a third party so you get the situations where the order has been cancelled by Tesco and you've got your money back, however the order has already been sent to the 3rd party supplier and they fulfill the order. Theres nothing that anyone can do about it as once it gets into the system i think they are difficult to track down!

    However its not your fault so i wouldn't go back to Tesco, merely inform them the phone has turned up and ask them to arrange collection from your house. Its not your responsibility for their mistakes!
