Statement in support of application - HELP

Ok, I am going for it, I am at the end of my application for college. I am applying for access to higher education. I am 27 so classed as a mature student.
It is now asking for a statement in support of application, why I want to do the course and any experience I have had.
After the access course I want to go to uni to do primary teaching. Not had any experience unless you count a placement to the local primary school two afternoons a week when I was at school when I was 16.
I work full time (and have 3 hours travelling) so cannot really get experience. I have 2 kids (6 & 3). I may ask when I take my son to boys brigade tonight if they need any helpers!
Anyway, I do not have a clue what to write. Can anyone help, please?

Basically what you've written in your post, but in more detail.
Don't worry about your lack of experience at this point but you'll really need to address the problem before you apply for your degree as you'll need it to be accepted on a primary teaching course because entry is very competitive. You should have time to get some classroom experience while you're doing Access but start as early as possible as you'll begin your UCAS application within weeks of enrolling at college.0 -
Thanks for the reply. If I get accepted at college then I will be able to help in my son's school so that will help. The problem at the minute is that I leave home at 7am and don't get home until 6pm then have to deal with homework, wahing, ironing, cleaning. If I get into college my 3 hour travelling per day shall be reduced to 30 minutes max.
How long should the statement be?0
