New to all of this as i myself am on PAYG.
OH at the weekend purchased a contract with a free acer liquid phone on a 2 year £20 a month contract. The phone arrived yesteday morning and he's been using it today, however he's not sure if he selected the right phone and is wondering if he can send it back and select something else.
I fear not and that he will have to live with his choice of phone for the next 2 years.
But thought id ask on here as people would know.

Have you checked the T&C's of the contract?
I do know that some companies will offer a 7-14 day cooling off period whereby you can simply cancel the contract and return the phone. Would have to start the whole process of applying etc again, but is def better than living with a rubbish phone for 2 years.Just started comping - 1/12/08 - keep your fingers crossed!0 -
If the phone was purchased online or over the phone he will be covered by the 7 working day distance selling regulations however if he took the contract in a shop then he has no right to return and it would be down to goodwill if they took it back0
