Went along this morning and al the signs were up for £2 however rotisserie didnt open until 9.30am. When I went back all the signs were taken down it seems the chickens are not going through at £2 they are going through full price so they are doing it tomorrow instead. My husband still got them for £2 though!0

I got mine for £2 and there was advertising up and the stickers were on the bags.
Although I'd not call them large either!!0 -
From the amount of chicken I got after deboning and skinning 420 grams apparently I would be able to make 7.6 M&S chicken salad sandwiches. They have 55 grams per sandwich.

I will make 3 - 4 decent sandwiches with the amount harvested!0 -
Managed to get one but had to wait 20 minutes for them to finish cooking. They're tiny but okay for £2, all the old ladies looked ready to kill me as I was in the queue first!0

I got one at my local Teso this morning, and it was a good size. Carved it soon as I got home, and have the carcass simmering on the stove to make stock as I type. I got loads of meat off my chicken, easily enough for a couple of main meals and sandwiches tomorrow. Thanks OP for the heads up on this one

Large cooked chickens still £4.25 in my Tesco's today - I even scanned the chicken to check. Size wise the one I scanned was less than half the size of the large uncooked chicken. I'll still be checking again tomorrow to see if I can get one for £2, they make lovely sandwiches0
