Internet banking with Lloyds TSB

Has anyone else attempted to set up online banking with Lloyds TSB? I have a current account with them, and I went throught the signup procedure on their website, only to be dumped onto a logon screen when it had finished. The logon screen requires me to enter my User ID, which I haven't been given.
I can only assume that they will send me my User ID in the post over the next few days (does anyone know if this is right???"), but if this is the case then that wasn't made clear at all. If I follow the Forgotton User ID link, it can't identify me from my details.
Any help?
Thanks

Have recently changed from First Direct to Lloyds and can say that Lloyds internet banking beats anything else I have ever used before. Fantastic meaning I have yet had to speak to anyone at Lloyds0

Thanks. Can any of you remember how long it takes for this letter to arrive? I signed up for it four days ago and haven't received anything yet.0

I work for LTSB, letter should be with you within a week, if not either try to register again or call 0845 3000000.
When I set mine up, even though I'm a member of staff, I still had to go through some extra security. I'm happy with the on-line banking, plus it's a lot easier to use than the others I use (A&L, RBS, HBOS)
If you need specific help pm me. I'll try to help.Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

Lloyds must be congratulated for their online service as I believe its is the best currently available. It's simple to set up, very easy to use and the format is exceptionally good. I currently/have had accounts with Cahoot, HSBC, NatWest, A & L and Barclays and not one of them comes close to providing a service anywhere near as good as LLoyds. As someone who logs in to their account on a daily basis I can honestly say I've never had any problems accessing my account through site maintenance or any other down time.
Not 100% sure about this, but did they not win an award for best online banking service last year ?0 -
Well, you all wax lyrical, but my letter still hasn't arrived. It's been well over a week.
I'll give it until Monday and then phone them.0 -

I seem to remember the initial setting up was not too efficient. When I helped set up my mother's especially, and given her age they expected a lot from her, I had to argue their process with them but once online it is excellent.0
