Ferry to Scotland ??

We went on a trip to England and got the ferry with Stena this summer, had a great time on the ferry, just wish the wifi was a bit faster

Tesco deals make it very reasonable!

Wanted to go to Scotland last Friday would have cost me £299 for a car and two adults return, thats a rip off as usual the smallest stretch of water to cross, would have been cheaper on easy jet to fly and hire a car, I could source a two week holiday in europe for that price including hotel food etc, Stena line you need to wake up, if it wasn't for tescos you would be seriously under the water

Stranraer is a bit of a way away from everywhere else in Scotland. Even if you get a cheap fare, yuo're looking at a fair bit of petrol to get to the M74. How about sailing to somewhere like Troon instead? (P&O Irish Sea Ferries). A lot closer to two of the main cities on the West coast (Kilmarnock and Glasgow), and more central to the rest of Scotland.

We were on the P&O last week to Troon,the ferry was very clean,the food was expensive, but overall the journey to Ayr only took us 10 minutes which was really good for the children,I would travel more often to Troon,but you need to ask for priority boarding if you have a disabled passenger,we didnt and the sailing back to larne was very busy we thought we would not be able to get a seat,that was the only fault,the staff are really helpful,a brilliant sailing. You need to book early to get a cheaper rates....or go as foot passenger,hire a car,or fly,hope you can find the best way to travel...:D :j
