Survey?
You don't pay estate agents to buy a house.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

£120,001 to £250,000 - 1%
£250,001 to £500,000 - 3%
Solictors
Varies but I found using a remote solictors was cheaping. We did everything be post.
Estate Agent
Don't know! Only ever bought a house, not sold one yet.
Mortgage fees
Again varies which each lender and type of mortgage.
As I have only ever bought one house, I'm probably not best to advise, but thought I would try:o
I'm sure someone with come along and be able to answer in more detail for ya.0 -
OK, these are the things we're having to pay for... We're buying a new build property though, so some of the things won't be applicable if you're buying an established property (such as the bt installation and aerial installation):
Estate Agent Fees (if you're selling as well)
Solicitors Fees
Mortage Disbursement Fees (if you already have a mortgage)
Mortgage Arrangement Fee
Survey/Valuation Fee
Removal Fees
BT Connection Charge
Mail Redirection
Aerial Installation
House Insurance (unless you're going to put it under a monthly plan, but we decided to pay it upfront, and save up for the next years ... saves paying the interest on it!!!)
Hope this helps...0 -
Look at paying around £545.00 + vat for legal fees or above also remember your stampduty will be 3% if you go over £250,001.
