Basic building costs advice please

Hi

I am looking for a very rough estimate on an extension to my house (bungalow). It is going to be at the back of the property along the gable end 6.5metre x 8.5metre. Will incorporate additional bedroom large bathroom and utility room.

Any help appreciated

Do you have your measurements correct? 6.5m * 8.5m is huge... it's 592 square feet. At £120 per square foot building costs that would be £71,000.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Good grief. That's roughly 20'x30' - the size of my house!

Even my master bedroom is only 15'x10' - how large are you planning your large bathroom to be???

The house as it stands is only approx 600 sq ft with three bedrooms. Was going to make exisiting bathroom into a hallway leading to the new opening to the bathroom and new bedroom and existing bedroom. Measurements are as follows:-new b/r 4.7m x 5m bathroom 3x x 4m and utility 2.5x 3m hallway 5m x 1.2m approx.

maybe need to rethink new to this extension lark
