DHL Redirect Website Warning - Unbelievable

Got a delivery card from DHL. Went to redelivery website as advised (redelivery.dhl.co.uk) and requested redelivery. Received email confirmation. Delivery did not take place so telephoned for update to be told parcel had been returned to sender.
Reason - apparently online redelivery website does not work despite appearing to be live, sending email confirmations and being referenced on failed delivery cards. Telephone agent said it is a known IT problem and they are working on it - so why leave the site live to fool punters?
I know delivery companies are carp but I have never seen anything like this.:eek:
