I think it maybe depends on the driver Ames.....I nearly always have Asda and they've never offered to do anything other than perch it on the door step and the same with any Tesco deliveries I've had. I have had 2 Waitrose deliveries and both times they asked if I wanted them to bring it inside for me. It's delivered to the kitchen door as it is so would be a bit naughty to ask them to step inside about 2 steps to put it on the work top :rotfl:

Today was a talk about how pain manifests itself and how the brain 'remembers' old pain and how the body reacts and then she gently touched around the damaged joint in the hip area and then did a 1 minute breathing exercise and then 4 minute 'body scan' relaxation exercise.
Overall, I would say a 3 out of 10.
The woman I saw today mentioned she thought I might end up on a long term pain management programme.
Physio did nothing for me BB - my pain is in the sacroiliac joint. Not so much pain actually, more stiffness, lack of mobility and then over time pain. I go to pilates, a monthly session with the chiropractor and do stretches like touching my toes daily. They really hurt but seem to help. I have very poor flexibility in the lower back.

Ames - my Tesco drivers do offer to take it through to the kitchen. MiL had her shopping delivered a little while back and they offered for her as well - she took them up on the offer; I don't bother - unpack it in the hall and take it through when I'm good and ready (cos I'm lazy!!!)0

cheers, whenever I'm doing my tesco order online it says they deliver it to the fridge door, I think I'll email them to check and then in future I'll know whether it's ok to ask them to bring it through.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

same joint for me as well as the disc, it's started to give me a bit of sciatica down my backside.
Just spent 20 minutes chipping ice out of the freezer as the door had come open and wouldn't shut followed by a Jane Torville-esque skate across the floor on the cold water....however if I hadn't have been going to get chocolate out of the fridge I wouldn't have discovered it and it could have sat like that for even longer with stuff at the edge starting to defrost, so yayyy for chocolate

That's the best excuse for eating chocolate I've ever heard :rotfl:

Couple of Asda Puffins and my freezer is sorted - I bet Puffins come from the same production line as Penguins but are just in not so fancy wrappers as they look and taste identical!

Same thing used to happen with the motorbike. I'd be panicking because I was on a steep gradiant, right hand would be going MAD, bike sounds like its screaming and I'm just staring at my hand thinking 'Why can't you stop doing that'.
Ah yes, forgot about that too. I'm thinking about learning to ride a motorbike as part of my mid-life crisis (I decided to go for the whole package) and I forgot the clutch was somewhere silly.
Fortunately, I'm a typist, so the hands are reasonably strong..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
