Is Safestyle UK offer of compensation fair?

Any legal minds out there who can advise me please?
To cut a very long story short -
Is their offer fair? If not, what next?
To cut a very long story short -
- I paid £10k in 2007 to have them replace all my windows and doors
- Since noticing severe draughts in 2009 they have visited 18, yes 18 times to rectify the poor initial workmanship.
- The last, 18th, visit resulted in complete re-installation of all units (i await winter to see if it worked!)
- I have written stating sale of goods and services act etc
- I work from home so worked into the evenings to catch up with my work that suffered due to having to supervise their visits - so no lost earnings, as such. But tears, stress and sleepless nights.
- They have offered me £500 compensation as they "do not compensate for inconvenience"
Is their offer fair? If not, what next?

The faults occurred after 2/3 years, so unless you want to pay for an independent assessment on the windows, the SOGA won't assist you (I'm assuming this was a consumer purchase). Safe style appears to fulfilled its obligations be coming out (repeatedly!) to remedy the faults.
It would appear they 're-installed' all of the units - does this mean brand new windows or old windows refitted?
My advice would be to accept the £5000 -
no they refitted the same ones.0

they've replaced all of the windows and given you £500?
what more are you expecting?!?0 -
How can you quantify any damages? If you push too hard they may withdraw the offer.
What warranty period do you have? Who is behind the warranty? I think this is the area to concentrate on and check that out thoroughly.
At least they didn't run away which is promising.
(Legally I haven't a clue where you stand, but would assume anything over and above could cost you a lot of money)0 -
£500 for inconvenience is an excellent offer.0
