Adding a BIN

I've heard it's possible to add a BIN to an existing auction. I've had a very reasonable offer from a potential buyer and I'd like to do this.
- Anyone know how?
- Do I have to remove the one bid before I can add the BIN?

You can't add BIN while there's a bid on it. Is the bid from the same customer who wants the BIN? If so, I don't suppose they'd have any problem with having their bid cancelled to allow them to BIN. Personally, I would only do this if no-one else is even watching it, since I know I'd be annoyed as a (potential) buyer if an item I was planning on bidding on disappeared when it wasn't originally listed with BIN.0

It's my o/h's item I'm selling... he knows more about it than I do and he reckons we're unlikely to get more than the guy's offering.
My instinct is to let it run... but on the other hand, if I sold to him now (for£120) we'd pay less postage and get it out the way sooner.
I have 9 watchers and I know this is a hard-to-find item... that said, you'd be silly to pay much more than £120 as you could find a brand new item for that much.My TV is broken!
