in Credit cards
Hi all,
I had a phone call from a company saying they were associated with vanquis credit card (of which i am a costomer) and they asked for some security details - name and year of birth (they may have asked postcode but I can't remember). They tried to sell me some discount brochure but luckily I had wised up, albeit late.
I didn't pass on any card details, but i'm worried about them having my "security" details as I've googled the number and it comes up with scammers etc I've cancelled the card, is there anything else i should do?

yip LEARN from ure mistake lol
i remember a few years back havin a scammer on the phone for a mobile phone contract he was after everythin includin my national insurance number i hung up lol
best policy when peeps call u is if u didnt ask for it DONT ENTERTAIN IT, sooooooooo many bloody scammers nowadays its unbelievable, theres not a lot u can really do if u dont have there contact number, there adress is probably a holdin address kinda sad but its the world were in nowadays..........but yeah just dont give any company the time of day in future unless uve SPECIFICALLY asked for there call/attention... its kinda like those recent banking fiascos loosing millions of consumers details..........whilst were all pretty annoyed about it pretty much not a lot we can really do about it lol......0
