What compost for plugs?
Hi guys.
I ahve decided to buy some plugs, for beeding and baskets, from ebay as they seem to be very reasonably priced, firstly is that a good idea.
Secondly I know once they arrive I will need to repot them till they get a bit stronger but what kind of soil/compost do I need to put in the pots?
Thanks guys

Most multi purpose compost will do, I tend to buy in large bags 70 litres or so. I feed in growing season once a week with liquid feed or growmore feed0

Thanks for that dude.
Would I need to add any soil to this or just the compost?
Also if I was to do seedlings would I use this too or a mix with soil?0 -
Compost should give some nutrients for a week or two, but then feed. Baskets need watering every day in height of Summer
I tend to use new compost for small plants like seeds, seedlings etc and established plants mixture of my own compost I make with waste food (not cooked), grass cuttings etc and also with some compost
I normally can get 3x70litres bags for a tenner. I bought 9 so far this year mainly for raised beds which I mixed with my own compost0 -
Thank you savemoney for your help.
