    Basically the above is correct ...... if you're BR? Getting your P60 isn't going to change anything ..... you need to resolve the BR (normally for a 2nd job) if you think it's incorrect. Then provide the P60 .... which you should have imminently.
    If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !

    I am aware fo that and have recentely filled in a P46 an returned it to my employer. Will my company send a P60 to the tax office or do I have to send mine and if so do I send it to the Manchester branch which is on my P60 or my Local tax office in Plymouth

    Thanks in advance for any information you can give on this.

    If you want to expedite it ... you need to send your P60. HMRC get a copy of that but as they've got a new PAYE system to cope with - you're better sending yours (keep a copy). You send it to your current PAYE office (as on the P60).
    If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
