If so, what's your theme and what are you doing to bring it to life?
I'm considering art deco, but am concerned it might be too restrictive to have a theme. Haven't discussed with OH yet either:D

I probs wont bother with a theme so as not to restrict myself too much.
The overall feeling I want is something informal.
I guess if there's any theme, it'll be rural countryside; eg, my flowers will be british seasonal / wild flowers.
Will probs go minimal on deccies as the venue is pretty as it is.0 -
We are having a disney theme as we both love disney and we got engaged at disney land paris. We are having tables named after characters, disney chocolate coins for favors, disney guest book from paris, mickey and minnie wedding cake topper etc. Its not going to be tacky in your face, its just subtle hints throughout the day really.
Art Deco would be good theme - can get some lovely cards in clinton cards with that theme on it - maybe could get some ideas from them! hope you have luck winning you OH round!:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!

I'm sure you already know, but there's a line of jewelery called Disney Couture.
The stuff is really pretyy & very grown up.
Would make for nice accessories and / or gifts for the bridal party

We're just doing colors, purple bridesmaids dresses, with spring colored flowers.
My bio has my ideas. http://ukpabride.weebly.com/0 -
were having a bit of a poker theme for the evening, table names, cake, table planner will all be related, but still in our colours, playing cards on tables, and poker related chocolates, but not going overboard with it, centerpieces arent related, but will all match together as keeping same colour scheme with the theme, so dont think a theme has to be restrictive if you keep something the same throughout (in our case colour) then it will all gogetting married: 02/10/10

Thanks Rainbow drops, I love that line of jelwery - its so nice! i dont own any of it... am working on that though - my hints are ignored! lol.
They are really lovely, and i was thinking about seeing what i could get for my bridesmaids etc as a present.
I have this;
which is lovely, but wont be any good with a wedding dress, so i may have to drop bigger hints to my OH!
It is lovely as most of its not too childish either.
will now spend ages looking online at all the pretty bits!

We're doing a retro vintage glam type thing, mink and muted gold colours, lots of lace and pearls, champagne glass towers, quoits and croquet on the lawn during the photos, frank sinatra swing band, floating candles, really looking forward to it now (I was struggling when I thought it would be a cookie cutter wedding!).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

We had a seaside theme and it worked very well especially as the sun shone and the tide was high !! nah, thought about it but i dont want everyone stood round casino tables not enjoying the disco and each others company - and its silly money! just the cards on the table, just a nice involvement of something my OH really enjoys, well we both enjoy really, but used to do it together in the early days!getting married: 02/10/10
