Packard Bell Laptop Damaged

Hello there, I'm just wondering if my laptop is fixable, and if so would it cost too much to fix it?
My laptop (Packard Bell Easy Note MS2273) has a broken LCD screen.(When I plug in the external screen, that works but it cuts out just before windows loads) As well as that the keyboard dosen't work. On the return slip from Techguy's it says liquid damage was found on it. When I plug in the external keyboard that also doesn't work
. Unfortunately the problems are not covered by in the manufactuers warranty.
My hands have the touch of death, it's only 6 months old
Many thanks to all who reply in advance!

you might want to try some local laptop/pc repair people and see what they say, i find most people say liquid damage just to get people to say oh, "i didnt know it had gotten wet" then they go onto saying it could be any sort of liquid, fizzy drinks tea etc etc, basically putting a thought into your head that it might have possibly happened and then they hit you for excessive, unneeded repairs.
in regards to prices, your probably better to find one on ebay and get someone to make one that works out of the two. i know first hand buying parts for laptops direct from the manufacturer is a VERY expensive business.0 -
seeing its a Laptop then its not woth repairing from the problems you describe. If you have accidental damage cover on your home insurance then it would be covered ?? spilt drink is "accidental damage" as is the LCDEx forum ambassador

The problem is if you have spilled somthing on it it may have damage to the main board I know pc world offer a fixed price repair what would fix all these problem for £229.
You could maybe get parts cheaper than this but again really depends on what wrong with it excatly and then finding someone to replaces the parts.
you could also sell it on ebay and get some money back and buy a new one.
