Quote from Abbey(Santander)'s Part 2 of CML Handbook:Abbey will only accept properties which have been
supervised by professionals who hold one or more of
the following qualifications:-
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS,
MRICS)
The Institute of Structural Engineers (FIStructE,
MIStructE)
The Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB, MCIOB)
The Association of Building Engineers (FB Eng, MB
Eng)
The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technicians
(MCIAT)
The Institute of Civil Engineers (FICE, MICE)
Architect Registered with the Architects Registration
Board (ARB).RICHARD WEBSTER
As a retired conveyancing solicitor I believe the information given in the post to be useful assuming any properties concerned are in England/Wales but I accept no liability for it.0
