no claims discount from abroad

does anyone know if 5 years NCB from abroad ( lebannon ) can be used on insurance in UK ?

    I would not think so, but its not a subject that i have ever come accross before.

    Do you think i could get my NCD from Nigeria to be passed over to UK also???

    I guess you can only contact the insurance companys to find out 100%

    Generally not, though some insurance companies will acknowledge it and slightly lower your premium by giving you an 'introductory' NCB...
