Furniture Dispute- please help

Hi there, back in December 2007 i purchased a 3 piece suite from the land of leather. I took this out on 3 year finance with creation finance. I know they have gone into administration however the finance company are still liable and i feel i have a claim- please tell me if you agree and what my action would be.
The chair and 2 seater settee are both fine- however the 3 seater setee is not. These are leather with fixed seats. The filling under 2 seats of the 3 seater has moved- meaning in some places i am practically sat on the frame- it has bunched up at the back so it is really uneven and in some places as soon as you sit down all you can feel are the springs- they arent actually coming through but because the filling has moved thats what you are sat on. Now i know it was only a cheap deal (£600) but i don't feel this is acceptable. It hasnt had lots of use- there is only me and my 10 year old daughter and generally i sit on the chair. As the seats are fixed and the cushions dont come off there is no way i can rectify this. I wrote a letter of complaint to creation finance who state it is most likely wear and tear and the only way they will disagree is if i pay for an independent report from a furniture specialist to say it is a manufacturing fault. I have looked into this and the furniture ombudsman charges £95. Can anyone this of another course of action i can take- or do you think i should just leave it and accept it as wear and tear. I am a single parent and purchased a leather sofa as i felt it would last years- i am now left with a sofa that basically can't be sat on. What are other peoples thoughts? Thanks

Whether you should or not is up to you but the credit company are correct"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

If you are 100% sure it's a fault, then pay for the independent survey on the sofa, then if it finds it to be faulty, the finance company will then have to sort it out, and reimburse you for the cost of the survey.
Put it this way - you're sitting on a £600 piece of cr*p, so perhaps it's £95 well spent!
EDIT: just noticed the sofa I'm sitting on is probably 20 years old, and it sagged recently, so I put some wooden board under to stop the cushions sinking, so 2.5 years isn't a reasonable time for a £600 sofa!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
