So you've already decided which £600 3D Bluray player you are going to buy then ?

And what about the 3D TV ? Will a 32" be big enough at just £1300 ?
Or are you spending the £5000 needed for a 65" model ?

Not the 3d blueray version its the standard 3d I'll give all the abover offers a miss!!.

Just remember not to be suckered in by these low prices if you are a real film fan, these cheap releases are "vanilla" discs, meaning you just get the film, no extras, no commentry - nothing.

I looked at the box in Sainsburys last night and it doesnt even look like they have put a trailer or anything on it.

You know that in a months time the two disc special edition one will come out with all the goodies on it, dont play their game of buying this one then getting the decent edition when it comes out.

If you ask me these discs are a rip off.
i hate the features id rather just watch the film

I see MSE have finally checked with Asda and found out that the Blu-ray is indeed £19.71 and not £8 as stated in the OP and in the MSE email.

Oh yes, about 1000 of them are freebie ones from the newspapers. My mate who owns a newsagent gives me a pile of them every month the rest have been bought in the sales, I never buy DVDs at their first release prices.
  • Wife purchased Avatar yesterday in Tesco for £7 as part of their "buy another chart DVD offer". Also bought Hurt Locker for £7, so got two excellent movies for £14

I am pretty sure you dont need a new 3D TV and "3D Blu Ray" player to watch it in 3D.

I went to my local Tesco and bought Avatar blu-ray for £15 (when purchased with another chart blu-ray - Wanted was £7.97).

    Blu-ray price was £22 otherwise.
