Hi there,
Could anyone please recommend a reputable surveyor in the Kent / Greater London Area. We would like a homebuyers report and valuation done and have checked RICS website, but not many coming up in the area we looking to buy. Have emailed those few for a quote, and none have come back to me yet.
Thanks!

Hi there,
Not much specific help, I'm afraid, but I booked my survey this morning and I used Yellow Pages to find surveyors (I'm in Brighton) which threw up lots more than the RICS website.
I wrote a list and I called about five. After half-composing an email and thinking...yeah but if I email, I'll be sat waiting! (I'm usually more of an emailer)
Here's a Surveyor & valuation company search for Kent from Yell. Bit general, but might be a start!

hi dats,
Thanks for that! Being the impatient soul that I am I rung the few on RICS website, and quotes varied from £585.50 to £408.00!
As I dont have any recommendations to go on and cant find any reviews on surveyors, I have selected the one closest to the property (and the cheapest too)
Good luck with your purchase, hope it all goes well!0 -
You're v welcome
I went with a very local one who were great on the phone - and also the cheapest! EA called within the hour to say the survey had been booked in, hooray!
Good luck with yours, too!

Fingers crossed the survey goes well for you!
