anyone be given raffle prizes that are not a reg charity??

Hello,

Im doing a night on 5th June to help raise money for a little boy Cameron who is terminally ill, he is very poorly at the moment and his mum would like metal cast made of his hands and feet so she has something precious to remember him by.
As it is an individual case and we cant register him as a charity does anyone know of any places that could offer prizes?

Same places as if it was for a registered charity - for our school fair (not a charity) we used to approach local shops, visitor attractions, big companies, local companies and so on.

There are threads about raffles, when I've got a bit more time I'll find a recent one and probably merge you.
