Hi there, I claimed WTC and CTC for the first time last May. Recenetly everyone seems to be renewing their tax credits and Im wondering whether you recieve something in the post for this or whether you have to ring them up?
Also, I think I estimated my income at 10800 for 09/10 but I actually recieved £400 more than that so I expect I will have to pay that back in a lump sum??
Thanks

Hi twinnymum. You get a renewal pack through the post and then you can either ring them up or post back your renewal.
I'm unsure about repayments. I've heard of people paying back over 12 months which is taken out of their new tax credits award but each case is based on individual merit I do believe.
