I have oily skin and if i do not use a good quality oil based moisturiser (yes I know that sounds backwards but it is true )then I get god awful breakouts and terribly greasy skin :(
    Boots P&P works a treat :)

Agreed! There moisturiser for oily/combination skin is the only thing that doesn't make me explode in spots (weird considering I was told I had dry skin)

Expensive (ish) but a little goes a long way.

Are you all too young not to be looking for skin-firming from your anti-ageing creams? . This is something Nivea in the blue tub, E45 etc doesn't offer!!

Unfortunately not - I use some very hi tech anti ageing serums under my Astral!

I need to be careful what is in my moisturiser as one with retinol for example will render the serums ineffective. Plain and simple is therefore good in this case.

I am sure I read somewhere recently that aqueous cream is a wash product and its use as a moisturiser is not recommended?

I use it to wash with as I find it too thick as a moisuriser, although very occasionally I will use it on the skin around my nipples as they get very dry and itchy.

For daily moisturiser I use Superdrug E45 which has a SPF15. It's only about £2.

At night I use The Body Shop shea body butter, which is more expensive at £12 but it's a massive tub and lasts for months!

Do these hi tech anti ageing serums actually work? You've got me worried I'm missing out on something now :D.

Goodness knows but at the price they are they'd better!

One I use claims to boost collagen production. My skin does seem to be the firmer for it but it could well be just wishful thinking. Ask me again in 20 years time. ;).

Have you any info about that Bronnie, -not heard of it and perhaps I should have since I put on with gay abandon, all kinds of various skincare stuff that Ive been given for birthdays etc.

One cheap Aldi one Ive got here - Lacura double lift regeneration , is a firming gel serum listing retinol as an ingredient, and says you can follow it with your normal day/night care programme which of course would include a moisurizer. Is it just a particular make youve found which you cant mix?
