Pea seedlings - why does one look like grass?

I've planted a few pea seeds in pots and two are starting to show (they look like curled over leaves) but one also has several shoots coming up that look grass like. I assume they are the tendrils? Why would one have them and the other one not?
I just wondered if the shoots are any indication that one is the better plant?
Thanks
Vicki

If it looks like grass, it might well be grass. Commercial compost seems quite weedy this year-I've pulled up a number of stray seedlings.

Peas look nothing like grass and the tendrils usually come a bit later, so it could well actually BE grass. I'd let it get a bit taller just to absolutely confirm then tweak it out.

Lol, it might be grass then! I thought I was asking a really obvious question but it seems that this is not expected after all.
DH has been putting grass seed down on patches on the lawn so it's not put of the question that some got into my pots, especially with an enthusiastic toddler helping him!
    Thanks everyone, I'll get rid!
