Price of flights to Menorca August 2010.

Hi, just after a bit of advice please.

I am thinking of booking a villa in Menorca for the end of August (27th to 3rd September) and the immediate deposit due is less than £500 so want to try and book it this week if possible.

There will be 7 adults, 2 x 14 year olds and 1 x 15 month old. I probably won't have the money to book the flights until July sometime.

My question is, is there a "best" time to try and book flights to get the best deals (will be flying from Manchester, but could go from Liverpool if it was cheaper). Also, are there any codes knocking about for Villaplus that I could use? What kind of price will I be looking at, per person, for the flights?

Booking flight only usually means paying 100% at time of booking.

You would have been best booking flights about 6 months ago, but that doesn't really help you...

You are probably looking at a minimum air fare of £180 per person (plus baggage charges) in August right now.

Easyjet from Liverpool was the cheapest I could see.

Just be careful with booking your flights so late as you have a party of 9 people and availability on the flight you want for the whole party may be limited.

Hi, the Villa is just under £1500 (deposit £350). We are hoping to book the flights around early July (flight for end of August - 27th for 1 week).

I have seen a 5 bed villa 1350 for the week with only 130 deposit tried to Pm you before

As Del has said flights for August/larger party should be booked asap.

Why not get one of the interest free credit cards to buy the flights now and then just pay the card off in July.
