Holiday Park Refund and Stuff

For the last 4 years, we have paid for a seasonal touring pitch at a national holiday park operator.
We have now sold our caravan and would like to get something back for the unused (majority) part of this season.
We paid £3,000 and after just 8 weeks, are happy to accept £1,500 for the remaining 27 weeks - which includes the main summer period.
I think that Im being very reasonable on it.
I tried contacting the site by email (twice) but didnt get a reply - it turns out the woman is on leave.
So, I printed some flyers and handed them out to other guests. I now have 3 people who want to buy the pitch.
However, the Manager found out and has told me I cannot re-sell the pitch for the season and they had no obligation to refund me anything either.
He claims it's in their terms/conditions. I explained that I had never been given any t&c and certainly never signed anything.
So, what would you do?
The park also took photos of our caravan last year and it features twice within their national brochure this year - they didn't ask our permission.
That didnt bother me too much, but if they want to play silly sods over the refund then Im inclined to push this photographing issue.
Ideas?

Ive heard some real horror stories of holiday park owners recently. You have to buy from them and sell back to them and they can give you as little or as much as they like. Guess who tends to get the best deal?:hello:  please play nicely children !0

If it's a tourer, buy a £100 wreck complete with green mould and black lines and park it up for the year.
Then let him put that in his photos.0 -
