Bought my old car from a garage.
Came to Part - ex it and the garage where we were trying to sell it to HPI checked it there and then and told us it had outstanding finance and gave us the details of the company who owed finance.
We rang the company, who said there interest in the vehicle had finished over a year ago, HPI must be out of date. They rang HPI to tell them to change the details and all was sorted.
HPI is a good idea to check out, but it's not the end of everything...-highguyuk-0
