As title really, first bit of sun & I find a lily beetle eying up my snakes head fritillaries

Promptly squished, but a portent of things to come I suspect

    We've been squishing them for a couple of weeks. Also spraying them with Provado, which is in a yellow 'bottle'

    Yes, they are already up and at anything lily-based. In our case, our fritillaries. 3 squished already. We just get on top of these then the asparagus beetles arrive. Squishing gloves primed & at the ready!

    I squished a rosemary beetle this morning. Felt bad because A) it was obviously a bit dumb and nowhere near my rosemary and B) they are so beautiful. Ah well, stomp stomp stomp.

    Arrrrggggghhhh!!!! Lily beetles .. i have been killing them for weeks now .. i have a jam jar of death .. straight into the jar .. :) .. i must admit i haven't seen any now for a day ot 2 .. so i am off later to have look .. with nearly 250+ lilles in the front garden..
