hi can anyone offer me advise?
My husband took out a cap one credit card in 2004 and had a minimal balance of about £400 0n;Iit card was paid on a regular basis and we had ppi on it inevent of a problem. In 2008 he became ill with psychiatric probs, he hallucinated heard voices and lost time to mention a few of his symptoms. over the following 6mths he vanished and lived off his credit card to the sum of £3000; i was told by a debt recovery agency that he last made a payment in jan 2009 would it be possible for me to get capital one to honor his ppi up until he defaulted on his payments as he was signed of sick in nov 2008. could i also beable to get back any charges for late payment over this period too. finding it all very confusing!

  • Yes 100% you can. Only a Court can decide what a fair charge is and they have never ruled on credit card charges.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
