Well it goes from good to bad to worse then good again to bad!!!!
Some of you might remember me from when back in June our buyers buyer pulled out on the day before exchange.
We are all ready to exchange for the 2nd time next week with the new FTB at the bottom when our vendors now pull out of the house they are buying!!!
They have asked if we'll wait and we have all said yes ----again!!!!
There seems to be a new planning application come up in the road they were purchasing in and they have decided they now don't want to live in that road.
Will we ever move?????

Poor you, you must really want this house. I just hope your vendors soon find another house & everything goes through mega fast to compensate for the delays you've encountered. Are you bald?, only I'd have pulled my hair out by now. :rotfl:
The more I hear about chains the more reluctant I am to ever find myself in one. I've been lucky in the past always selling to ftb & the vendor's of my house going into empty properties, but I'm sure my lucky star won't shine on me for the 4th time. So I'm seriously thinking of selling first & going into rented for a short time when I sell again next year.
Good luck anyway. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Of course you'll move, don't know where, don't know when. This is one of the biggest frustrations of moving, when something doesn't happen due to a bad survey or search, its easier to accept & understand. When its down to someone changing there mind its hard to accept. Hope they find something they like soon.0

 But you'll move again some sunny dayyyyyyyyy :silenced:
Good luck hope it all works out for you very soon:)Speak your truth quietly and clearly;and listen to others, even to the dull and ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and agressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit0 -
Any chance of persuading your seller to rent until they find their perfect house?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Had that conversation with the EA as they also have a property in Spain that they were willing to move to in the summer, but are no longer willing to go to and they have said no they are not willing to rent. They may change their minds if they cannot find anywhere I suppose.
I will give them 2 days to look at properties and call the EA to see what is going on and have the conversation about renting again!!!0 -

You may well have to give them longer than 2 days, August is a quiet time of year for estate agents, not just with sales but with new instructions as well. The fact that there is generaly less competion on the viewing front may be good news, but not if they can't see anything they want to buy and are waiting for something suitable to come along. Not what you want to hear I know but thats how it is in August.
Are you going to set a timescale deadline before starting the search again?0 -
There's nothing else we like on the market so this is the house for us,so no alternative but to wait really.
They won't rent as there sis nothing to rent around us either.
It's just a pain people do this. I am dreading getting into an even longer chain.0
