Can I buy plastic end caps for 2.5 inch aluminium venetian blinds anywhere?

Hi,

Help! Really hope someone here can help me.

I've been trying for ages to source replacement plastic end caps from someone in the the UK for horizontal aluminium venetian blinds for my mum's patio abroad as she can't sort it out at her end.

The end caps have deteriorated in the sun and need replacing. They are the ones that fit at the ends of the bottom final slat of the blinds. I am told the measurement to give is that they are 2.5 inch slats. Hope that makes sense as I stupidly don't have a picture of the blinds.

Does anyone know a reputable supplier or website anywhere I can definitely buy them as spare parts? Big thanks for any help as I have drawn a blank on my internet search

Look elsewhere on the blinds for the maker's name, or installer's name, and call/write/e-mail them?

Thanks for reply Googler. Unfortunately blinds are now quite old and where there when moved in and any labels have fallen off. Have no idea who originally made them

I used to work for a company that made blinds, I actually made venetians.
people used to be able to order any parts from them over the phone so you could try.

Just to let people know, in case they ever have similar problem to mine that after long, long search this week I finally managed to get the parts I needed. They were 50mm Bottomrail End Caps.

In the end, I had to order the parts through a local blind company who placed an order with the wholesale supplier I had found who wasn't able to deal directly with me. I also found another supplier too.

Thanks again to Sampainter. I did try his suggestion too but they weren't able to help me.
