Best place to exchange/sell tickets?

My son has two tickets to Rihanna on tuesday 11th may and his football team have just got through to the his league cup final which is exactly the same time as the concert!! so he cant now go(.His girllfriend is not very pleased with him!!!!!!) He wants to exchange them for the previous day or sell them so he can buy tickets for the previous day. Can anyone advise the best way to go about this? Thanks very much.

He thinks a friend of his is going to buy them from him.I read on one website that it it is not allowed to sell tickets, they can only be used by the purchaser,but I dont understand how this could work in practice - would they actually check the id of everyone going in? and surely there must be loads of people with tickets they did not buy themselves.I have bought tickets on behalf of my son who does not have a credit card and it hasnt been a problem but I would hate for his friend to turn up and not be let in!
