Denham car Boot

Hi

Had planned on selling at Taplow car boot today; however due to the weather decided it wasn't worth going.

Everything is still pilled up in the back of the van, therefore thought I would just try again next week. However it is on the monday as bank holiday and I have plans...

Instead I noticed there is a car boot in Denham on the saturday... does anyone have any experience of this car boot... is it busy... what sells well... How much is it to get in.

Or is there any others this coming saturday 1st May around the Reading/maidenhead areas that anyone can recommend.

Thanks:)

I have posted this on another thread.... sorry if you have read this already.

Having travelled around that area yesterday, I can tell you that it gets absolutely packed! I'm not sure how many sellers there are, but there were two huge field full of buyers so I imagine you might sell quite a lot :)

Taplow & Denham are run by the same people, and they both get very good attendances. Some weeks, when Denham uses the larger field, you will literally spend hours looking round - even if you don't stop & look at individual stalls. I recommend sellers get there early, because it is a really popular car boot to sell at.

Taplow has a similar set up. Takes hours to get round when they use the larger field, and generally a popular car boot.

Only alternative I can think of is the Swallowfield By-Pass car boot. They run on a Sunday and Bank Holidays just off the A33 Swallowfield Bypass. Not as well attended as Taplow & Denham (smaller field), but still plenty of stalls and generally less business sellers. Havn't been there as often as T&D, so don't know if it's changed much in 6 months or so.

If you are willing to travel slightly further there is Ascot Wood bootfare. It's not as big as the T&D ones but still takes ages to walk around. I found you also get a slightly better price for your bits.

We have decided to brave the carboot at Denham as it seems to be the best one in the area on a Saturday, that is as long as the weather is ok!

I have noticed it says that sellers set up from 7.30, can anyone advise if it really is 7.30 or do people get there at ridiculous times.

    Thanks
