i wouldn't say buy now - i'd say buy now, the right property at the right price.

it's never a bad time to buy - just some times are better than others.
Feb 2009 was the best for a few years

Booger !! I waited until May 2009 !!! That'll teach me to listen to the bears on here

Its a sad state of affairs when a predicted 0.5% MOM rise in house prices prompts a front page headline. This country is just bonkers.

you have been around such a long time that you still think that the ticket price of a property is what you pay for a house...

do the maths on buying in Sept 2007 on a 1% tracker and buying in Sept 2008 on a 3% tracker when houses were cheaper... it doesn't matter when you buy as long as you get a good cheap rate

no wonder you struggle with the basic stuff Brit - it's getting embarrassing now for you

Between first and second half of 2009; average price in the three lowest price bands went down, whilst those in the bands reaching £500k went up......
what were the mortgage rates on offer comparing to 2010 and 2008 - would it not have been cheaper to buy in early 2009?

the answer is yes it was the best time to buy because mortgage rates were cheapest

and unlikely to happen anywhere soon... it took banks collapsing and the credit markets drying up completely to get nearly 15% corrections...

there are too many things in place for that to happen again

    Not for long...

there are no funds for the credit markets
there's going to be a gilt strike
the UK will call in the IMF

which one or how many of them is going to happen
