I have posted this before...my wife got a kids pair of size 3 from JL and they fit, why wouldnt they? kids size 3 and adults size 3 surely the same size!!! maybe the kids are narrower but if you have size 3 feet I would think they would also be narrow0 -

Am really confused- can someone please explain? I thought childrens sizes went from 1-12 and then adults sizes from 2-12, adults size 1 is a childs size 12 or something.... shoe size 3 would be baby small, wouldn't it?
Here is a link, keep your eye on the European shoe sizes;

This would inidcate that childrens size 3 is Continential size 19, adult size 3 would be Continential size 35.50 -

I understand your reasoning but my wife went in to a John lewis store and bought a pair of kids size 4 fitflops ( I did say prev that she bought size 3 but she has just told me she had to get a size bigger than normal) for £30 they were in the kids section and labeled as childs size 4 but they fit her and she normally takes a size 3.
So whatever your charts say I can confirm that in the kids section you can get fitflops to fit0
