Please could someone inform me how much savings you are allowed before it affects Housing and Council tax benefits?
It's for my mum who is 90 years of age, her income is her state pension, attendance allowance and she receives pension credits guaranteed.

If your mum is on receipt of guaranteed pension credit, the pension service should have all her capital noted but she will get full hb and crbI currently manage a Housing Benefit service and have been working in Housing / council tax benefit (as was) since 2001.

Like fluffymovie says your mum's ok. As long as she's on GPC she's entitled to full housing and council tax benefit. By the way there is no upper capital limit as such for GPC.I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!0
