Before I start queuing tomorrow what are people's thoughts on this laptop for £429. I'm about to replace my reliable Toshiba sattelite after 4 years.
Sorry I can't post a link.]
It's for web browsing, watching catch up TV and saving photos.
It comes with a 3 year warranty - I'm not sure how reliable they are since a friend had to return a Medion laptop twice recently to Sainsburys.
Any thoughts on this or alternatives appreciated.

Medion Akoya aren't known for build quality. It'll feel cheap, and on Medion Akoya's that have expert reviews they tend to have less good screens.
The specs aren't fantastic for the price, nothing that would make me want to line up to buy anyway. The only real good thing about this deal is the three year warranty, which you'll probably need.
Agreed.
The graphics capability is integrated, not dedicated.0 -
Thanks for the views - I think I'll give it a miss!0

The Medion forums are distinctly unenthusiastic about it, to the extent of very few posts about it.0
