This is driving me crazy! - Air China booking system

Hey all,
I've been trying to book the following multi city route for September
London Heathrow > Tokyo
Tokyo > Beijing
Beijing > Shanghai
Shanghai > Sydney
Sydney > London Heathrow
I've been using the Air China booking system here
http://www.airchina.co.uk/en/booking/multicity.html
I've entered these routes into their booking system, selected each individual flight and then it comes up with the price. After this, I click continue, enter my name, phone and email and then go to pay and it says this:
Customer advisory
I've also called the flight centre up and they want £1,300 or this route.
So annoying! - Dont understand whats happening here? Is it the booking system thats playing up (thats been like this since yesterday) or is because there are no seats on any of these flights or what?

- There are no seats available for the itinerary you have selected. Please modify your dates and try again or call your local Air China reservation office for assistance. (15012 - 1009)

Have you tried cutting out Beijing - Shanghai, it's a very popular route and the overnight train from Beijing is cheap and fast as an alternative. The Summer Holiday of a Lifetime0 -
Sounds like the cheap price could be a computer glitch. Look at getting a flight to sydney with a stopover in one of those cities, and getting some cheapie flights around asia instead. Or consider flying through, eg Tokyo on the way out and beijing on the way back if that is an option.0

Chinese airline websites are not great..China Southern is the same...often resolves to a blank screen and can't find anything...and they have trouble with mixed national and international routes.
My brother has the same problem booking flights and he lives there. He often uses CTrip just to get the darn things purchased. Might be worth dropping them an itinerary request and seeing what they can offer.0
