    Thanks for the info but as you will see from many other posts, this is not and never was a large chicken - some have even commented on the poor flavour.

    Mum bought one of these yesterday, she is the only person who eats chicken so she usually buys the half chicken but as this offer was on she got the large one instead. When preparing it to eat she was surprised how small it actually was and said it wouldnt feed a family and it also didnt taste as good as usual!

    Cor ,you lot must be greedy beggers:rotfl: ,plenty of chicken on them ,enough for 3 easily ,4 at a push ( eldest only eats the legs )
    Still enough picking to either make a soup or a sarny :)
    As for the taste 'it tastes like chicken '

    I bought this on Thursday and admittedly it's small but it fed 3 of us and we all thought it was very tasty. Can't go wrong for £2 :)

    was it chicken flavour ! asda also have an uncanny knack of having the same flavour too :rotfl:

    I bought 2 yesterday for sandwiches. Got them out of the packet and have to admit that they looked tiny but was surprised how much meat came off them.

    I agree with Alison B - I got a lot more meat off the two I bought than I thought I would when I first saw the size of them. They tasted ok as well, perhaps not as nice as the Co Op Elmwood ones but still nice.
