PPI claim when in a DMP

Hi

I am in the process of trying to reclaim PPI from HSBC, as I am in a DMP and the debt was passed to debt collection people, would a refund (if sucessful) come back to me or go to the dca??

    Hi there

As you may be aware it makes no difference if your account is within DMP or not, but normally if successful and they uphold in your favour, then the ppi is refunded towards the debt and the interest refunded directly to you for being deprived of your money.

However, many have tried to argue that the debt was actually made worse by the PPI which may have been worthless to them in the first place and request they refund directly back to them and you also been out of pocket due to this.

Hope this helps, good luck and post up for help if required.;)
