Our car stereo has come up with "SAFE" on the display panel and we are unable to reset it. Can anyone help?
We serviced the car ourselves last weekend, would this have anything to do with it?
Going to France next week the kids... without at stereo by the looks of it !
Don't think we have the pass code?

If you can take the car to a main Audi dealer with proof of ownership they should be able to reset it for you, did you disconnect the battery when you serviced the car?0 -
Thanks Nearlyrich, think that would be the best thing.....
Do they charge for this?0 -
I had a 4 month old Audi allocated as a company car when I started a new job, the previous driver had left without handing in the radio code card and the battery had been disconected for some reason. The Audi main dealer where the car came from sorted it free but the car was under warranty. I would try the original dealer who may be willing to look up the code for free.0

I have previously owned a VW and suffered the same problem of not possessing the code and it was not under warranty and the local dealership still check their records on the computer and provided it to me free of charge.0
