Ideal World/Break4Free and Travel Steps

Beware of Ideal World (shopping channel) in association with Travel Steps (now going by the name of Break4Free). This is a scam to make you pay £99.00 every year, without your authorisation. Ideal World have very kindly (and without my knowledge or permission) passed on my bank card details to this company. They write to you offering free holidays, and stating that if you do not reply, they will just help themselves to £99.00 from your bank account! This was just about to happen to me for the second time (unfortunately, I never noticed the first time), and the bank have cancelled my card, due to this (to stop them taking any more). Apparently, Ideal World (who I have been buying from for years) see nothing wrong in passing on people's bank details to 3rd parties without permission. I will not, by the way, be buying from Ideal World in the future. I have telephoned, and e-mailed them, but I am still waiting for a satisfactory explanation (though I am not holding my breath). Please don't get caught out too!
