power sterring

hiya

i have an old nissian 1.0 n reg but dont have any manual books can anyone tell me if it should have power sterring or not because the sterrings very heavy had tyres checked for pressure and are ok

ta if anyone can help

What type of nissan? The info you've given us would not be sufficient to reach a conclusion.

My guess however is that being a 1.0 (and therefore likely to be a micra) and being of that year is NO.

Almost certainly no power steering then! 'S' is the very basic one. But still great cars!

No.

Wife used to have a Micra 1.3SR on an early P plate, and it didn't have it either.

Think it became standard fitting on all models from late P plate onwards.

Steering heavy on a 1L micra?

What are we becoming? Try driving an old V8 rover that weighs almost 1.5 tons & see what heavy steering is, Or an old landrover.
