Yes but they don't actually metion a date by which payment should be made.

14 days is not enough. They need to specify an actual date. Like the BEFORE THE DATE SHOWN part says. What is that date?

    It's a load of poop.

    Ignore, they're cretins

Lets see exactly how they choose to persue this then. It will be 2 weeks on Wednesday from when they sent the default notice out.

You are also entitled to a full 14 days and this should allow time for postage and weekend days.

So really 3 weeks would be more like it. They aren't giving you enough time, even if they had put a date of 30/04/2010.

See if they send you a Termination notice.

Got another lovely little letter from Welcome yesterday. They kinly sent me a statement of my account, detailing every payment, missed payment, default charge etc

They sent it because they are legally obligated to:rotfl:

Still not heard anything regarding the default threat though. I suspect that is "in the system" waiting to be generated.

Welcome have now officailly passed this off to Lewis Debt Recovery. had a letter from them this morning asking me to pay the outstanding balance of £4083.07 by tomorrow to avoid further action.

I've not even had a phone call from Welcome to try and recover the amount.

I've just rang trading standards now to see what else I can do.This has to come to an end, it's now affecting my ability to get credit with a default notice on my file.
