she was dismissed because HR found out she had been "creative" with some qualifications on her CV (and by dismissed I mean escorted out of the building by security there and then).

    And quite rightly so IMHO.

Totally... though my point to the OP was that if they decide to dig a bit, he could get into big trouble.

So basically the OP has admitted being guilty of (council) tax evasion, and now wants to add fraud to his crimes? Not your smartest plan ever.

Sorry many jobs in IT will now kick you out or refuse to employ even if you have only one default. RBS are are one of the worst for this.

I have already been told as per my original post that admitting to any defaults will result in the offer being withdrawn, so in a sense I have nothing to loose.

I did live at my barn conversion while it was being built, so have actually been there over 3 years, but was fliting between the two addresses.

My question really is just that submitting my name and DOB can the vetting agency trace all my debt even if they don't have my address?

I expect you think vetting agencies are very stupid, or that Krug are dealing with so many men called Smith who live in a barn conversion and are applying for an IT job at a US bank in London, that if they read your posts and see you are planning to provide false information they will not be able to identify you.....

I don't think they are clever enough to scan every forum on the web writing down information about possible maybe candidates living conditions. Anyway the names of agencies, vetting companies and banks have been changed to protect innocent parties, please I am not stupid, but do exist within a satisfactory state of flux.

If you think they are that clever then you are labouring under a misconception. Thank you for your input now go away.

Ah where did I admit to not paying council tax? I missed that bit. Don't be so presumptuous.

If you all have nothing to add to my original enquiry please keep your 'notice me notice me' clever comments to yourself or does your lack of self esteem really extend to having to try to make smart Alec comments on a forum question of which you now nothing about?
