Donate £30 to Oxfam for FREE...

....by taking out an Oxfam Credit Card
From the info leaflet I received in the post:
Hope people can helpOxfam credit card holders have raised £2.5 million in total so far, and continue to raise around £300,000 each year. That's a terrific boost to Oxfam's work.
The scheme is very simple:When a supporter takes out a card, The Co-operative Bank donates £15 to Oxfam - and if you open an account before 31 August 2006, Oxfam will receive a Double donation of £30!
The Bank gives a further £2.50 when the card is used in the first six months]
The Bank continues to give 25p for every £100 spent using the card or transferring to it.
.....and [an example of] what the money can do:
The cotton worker's programme in India costs approximately £100,000 a year£15 - one new card - can pay for two liquid fertilizer tanks
£30 - two new cards - can buy a hand sprayer
£60 - four new cards - is enough to fund a two day training session for 20 farmers, who them become trainers for other farmers
£300 - 20 new cards - buys a neem grinder, which provides an income of £15 per month (£6 of which is used to repay the loan).
