You had your bbq then Pookey?

Yep - all done and dusted, twas very tasty too. I made some yummy burgers, some chicken marinated in a satay(ish) sauce and a rather scrummy egg and rice salad. To cold to sit out any longer though, the wind's really picked up.

Sold 5 out of 10 items on ebay this morning which wasn't to bad, a profit of £32 which isn't to be sniffed at for tatt that's been sitting in a box waiting to be listed for the last 3 months.

I think there will be a lot of applicants for the second job, in theory I should be in with a shout - 15 years of copywriting experience in amongst my PR work - but I've been out of the 'game' for 2 years now and whilst it isn't a skill which has to be kept up to date, they might look for someone who is currently working in a related role.

    We'll see.

Probably should do the ironing next, it's only about 5 bits and I can't be bothered!

weird, I took a tin of peaches out thinking I would finally use them tonight ( they've been in the cupboard waiting for their moment in life I thought for about 18 months) and the Best Before date is last August!!

I wonder when I really bought them?

Haven't done my ironing yet, and don't think I will - then tomorrow night I will wish that I had done it tonight

  • Evening all,

I'm exhausted. OH's been deposited at terminal 3 to fly back to work tonight and lucky thing is flying Business Class. He's back in three and a bit weeks and we're going on holiday again!

Now he's gone, I can indulge in thinks that I love and he hates - marmite, garlic, pasta and chocolate. The latter as he's lactosse intolerant.

I'll be able to concentrate much more on the studying now too.

    Sending love to everyone.
